Midwife Led Antenatal Classes in Ashtead

Hi, I’m Sam and I’ve been a Midwife since 2014. My career has been varied, working in all areas of Maternity including Labour Ward, Birth Centre, Postnatal Wards, and Antenatal Clinic. I am currently based in the Community, at a busy South London Hospital, and love that my role enables opportunities for discussion, whilst supporting women and their partners to make safe choices in the context of a mutually respectful relationship. Being comfortable with someone, enables trust to develop and women can share their deeper anxieties and insecurities whilst enjoying the more positive aspects of gaining knowledge and confidence through a supported journey of discovery.



I am excited to share this time with you as you start your own journeys, and believe that the knowledge you gain in our classes will be the best way for you to have a safe, positive and empowering experience of pregnancy, birth and parenthood.

I live locally with my husband and amazing young daughter who is constantly making me laugh with her hilarious antics. Outside of work you will usually find me at an adventure park, playground or farm and I love going on holiday (who doesn’t!), spending time with family and good food.
