Hiya I’m Tee, aka “Sunshyne” to some.

I’m a mum of two adults and one cat! Love to travel and experience other cultures. I stay active by playing netball and walking.

I’m a “pandemic midwife”, qualifying in summer 2020 and have trained and worked in large maternity units. I’ve spent time volunteering at a regional hospital in Tanzania. I was a doula and breastfeeding support helper before this, providing antenatal, postnatal and labour support. The birthing world has always held my heart and my soul.

I am a strong advocate for removing the fear and misinformation surrounding pregnancy and birth. I aim to hold a supportive space for women and birthing people to experience an empowered and positively memorable birth.

I believe for such a life changing event, it’s important to be equipped with evidence based information with which to plan your birth. Come with your questions, queries, fears and doubts,  I want to provide a warm, friendly and interactive environment where you can connect with others and are encouraged and empowered to address these and achieve your desire. I am a strong believer in affirmations, visualisation and the power of a positive mindset and naturally use these to help women I care for daily. I hope these too will comfort you during our meetings.
